Gonna Breakdown my starting five predictions for Game 1 of next year. Subject to Change
PG: Ethan Morton
Lack of portal point guard and Braden Smith's health and reliability being the big question marks. Morton takes over as primary ball handler.
SG: David Jenkins Jr.
Guessing he came here to start off the ball shooter with range can spell Morton's okay shooting touch.
SF: Brandon Newman
This is his time to shine hopefully turns into a great wing with more consistent shooting and defense. Trey Kaufman could also challenge for this spot with Newman being more of a 6th man.
PF: Mason Gillis
One of the best shooters on the team last year. A more consistent player than Caleb Furst at this point. Potential All-Big Ten player if he continues to grow.
Center: Zach Edey
Big Ten and National Player of the Year contender. Probably the only locked in place in the starting lineup with question.
