I don't think CMP leaves him in long enough to get into the flow of the game. Maybe because he didn't play last year & gets winded... I don't know, but I feel like he gets yanked out after a few minutes of play. If he were given extended minutes, I think we might see the old Spike. It seems like his play and production has tailed off after looking solid in the first two games of the season. Do you guys think his hip problems are starting to bother him again?
I thought that to be the case as well, but, the more I see him...the more I wonder if he simply is not capable of being the old Spike again due to his limitations now. Does not mean that he can't still be a good influence and/or make a difference on/for this team, but, whereas I thought he would be a difference maker for them on the floor and a potential huge one at that, I am beginning to believe that he just is not physically capable unforunately.I don't think CMP leaves him in long enough to get into the flow of the game.
