So who is leaving?

I can't see a reason why Burgess would leave.
If Purdue brings in a Portal big playing time likely would be the reason. Also, if you’ve noticed he rarely played late in the season, that might be telling. We’ll find out soon enough though. Purdue likely has between 2-4 guys leave, that’s a prediction.

Why would burgess leave? What better opportunity would he have? His mins will increase next year and he will play for national championship contender. Who is going to give him more NIL money and more PT at a P5 school that’s better than Purdue?
If Purdue brings in a Portal big I have a hard time seeing him play, at the end of the year Berg was getting more time than him, that might be telling, maybe not. He might not go but Purdue will have guys leave for sure.

Speaking of players potentially leaving…what happened to Burgess? I know he has struggled but we are giving minutes to Berg over him. Wondering if he would seek a new location.
Yep, I noticed this as well, not sure it bodes well for Burgess, I have to believe that Purdue is bringing another big very soon added to Jacobsen returning.

Smith but don't tell boilerzz he takes what I say for real 😁
Per Sleepers throwout today, a hot rumor is that Kentucky is going after Braden in transfer portal this spring. There is no hard data behind this rumor, but....

There is no doubt teams will come after Braden after this year and offer a large bag. We know Gonzaga did a couple of years ago. Can we compete $$ wise with Kentucky(or others), not sure, do we have to match $$ to keep him, I doubt it, but probably needs to be in ball park.

Tied to this,I believe, Paint was on Indy radio the other day and I did not hear the whole interview, just a snippet from Matt. He said something to the effect that Purdue will be bringing in help this offseason and players will have to compete for their playing time. Is Matt getting out in front of this, publicly stating this, due to the fact, this could greatly influence Braden's thoughts this post season. He wants Braden to know he is going to do all he can to give him teammates that can compete at highest level.

I don’t think it’s completely out of the question to think teams are offering him and he may at least hear them out and/or consider it. Personally I feel like something is off with in the team and Braden not his normal self. Could just be mental and/or physical fatigue or a bit of a slump . He’s under immense pressure…

I highly doubt Smith leaves, however, if the money is much better elsewhere I can’t say I blame him, I doubt he’s a NBA player, anyone would look out for themselves in this situation. I think Purdue finds the funds to keep them, if they can’t it’s very telling about their future to compete and the highest levels.

sleepers better check their sources cuz the only ones saying that are UK Burner (fake) accounts that have absolutely no insight.

Plus, why would smith go down there besides money? Pope hasn’t proven to be anywhere near better than paint, hasn’t developed players like paint and their team won’t be as good as Purdue next year.

So you have… TKR, DJ, Heide and a portal big.

TKR plays 30
DJ plays 15-20
Heide 10-20
Portal Big 10-20
RB 5-10

Still need depth as we have seen this year.

Seen highlights of RB in high school and he’s got the athletic ability to take it coast to coast and hit the 3. His body has not caught up to his mind yet…I’d give him one more year to develop cuz I think the game will slow down for him.

I think he could be a player similar to Wisky's Winter
