IUFB will be fine in 2025. There are "maybe" three games IU could lose - at Iowa, at Oregon, and at Penn State. So, 9-3 or 10-2 (not including a bowl game) will certainly not be "back to reality", and the bucket will stay in Bloomington.

At Maryland will be tough. It was one of the closer games in Bloomington this year and big ten road wins are hard to come by. Maryland looks improved doing very good in the transfer portal and many starters returning. And I know indiana won’t want to hear this or will probably argue, but hemby was losing his starting spot to freshman ray so Maryland has the edge on indiana there.

So, by your theory, they'll win all those games and then likely fall flat when it counts most. I know you guys know this, but ND was the better team and now owns the state. Every team is going to get better if they're willing to spend money and it appears that PU is finally in that group.

Cig had the easiest schedule he could have for a first-year coach, and that will be different next year.

IU sos was 67 before the ND game which is about right in the middle of of total D-1 teams

Except Sunseri was replaced with a good one. DeBoer got replaced and Indiana had the COVID year without him. Then it went downhill as Womack also left as DC and went to be the HC at South Alabama. Allen then hired a god awful DC from Georgia and then Walt Bell the season after.

Mendoza has some talent. Not sure what kind of talent or coaching was at Cal though. He still threw for 3000 yards. As for WR, Indiana kinda did it by committee outside of Sarratt who was the only real star. Same goes for RB. OLine is what needs bolstered the absolute most. Need some big boys to protect and open up the running holes. OLine was okayish.

OLine definitely needs more-currently counting on two guys that ended the year injured. Carter Smith, Nick Kidwell, Drew Evans, Bray Lynch return, but Evans and Kidwell need to get healthy.

To me KeyShawn Williams was the second best wr; they need a slot guy. But they also just picked the star wr from App St. Him, Sarrat, and Cooper are a great outside group.
