Sebastian Williams Adams recruiting update

Auburn had guys fighting on flight to Houston. It was so bad piolet turned around 45 mins in and landed due to safety concerns.

Bruce Pearls team showing a ton of focus before a match up with #4 Houston.

Not a good look for what looks like toughest competition. At least if winning means anything to the kid.
Really weird story here. My first thought was couldn't they still go to Houston? How long a flight could that possibly be?

Well there’s plenty of examples on the team currently as examples of how freshmen can come in and contribute and even break into the starting lineup for him to look at. The argument that playing time might not be there at Purdue takes a hit. If he comes in ready and earns it, he’ll play!

“Williams-Adams previously told 247Sports that he will pick the school where he trusts the coaching staff the most.”

"I want to go to a school where I can trust the coaches for potentially the next four years," Williams-Adams said. "I obviously would not want to wait as long but things may happen. To know, that I would be wanted and valued my freshman year the same as my senior year means a ton."

He stated Auburn coaches in close communication but he also said winning is important and he likes the culture set up at Purdue . Has said he really enjoyed the OSU visit a lot. We’ll know in a week…

I believe Auburn turns over A LOT of guys after this year due to graduation and probably going pro. So not sure if they ll be set up to win next year—especially how they’re looking now (which is real good).

And OK State while they have Lutz as coach, they aren’t going to be that competitive in the top of the big 12. So if he wants to win and contend right away, Purdues his schools but he may and probably sees it differently 😂

agree on Auburn, it's the first one listed, don't let the "culture" comment sway you, Khamenia mentioned that too and didn't work out for Purdue
But also these kids usually want to play right away and while he’d be a great get, we don’t technically need him. Again, would be awesome if he chose Purdue…just he’d have to (more than likely) take a back seat his first year.

I think we are too guard heavy next year. Great problem to have, but it isn't going to be appealing to a kid in the top 40 in the country. JMO, I don't know anything else about his situation.

The following year after Smith and Loyer are gone would be a different situation for high ranking recruit.

He plays the 3/4 spot. But we are log jammed there too.
