1, 1, 3, 3, 5......it's going to be really fun to watch him hit 7 threes against ND next week.
And he's now shooting 61.9% from three. That's pretty good, right?

Bet you wish you were Collin right there don't ya? You do.
Not sure if you are an admin but if you are, do you not have the ability to block an IP address as opposed to blocking a poster? Obviously with many people using DHCP, this might not be an option but it would be great if it is.Get ready to make a new account
That picture will never get old.

Love the homers in the front row asking for a charge call.
The thing is, the clip that the team is shooting will allow Biggie and Haas to be even more effective inside. You started seeing that last night as ASU started being late to the double team..which allowed Haas to either make a power move OR see the double team and pass out of it. When the double team is on time and in place, Haas tends to struggle. He'll get better at making quick decisions as AJ truly became good at as a senior.I didn't see this coming. I love seeing teams double up on our bigs and leave guys open that are lighting it up. Really pleasantly surprised by how well we are shooting so far this year and hope we can continue it in league play.

I think you misinterpreted my post. The shooting from the outside forces the defense to play tighter on the arc...that in turn forces the double team to be late. That, in turn, allows the bigs to make a power move to the hoop OR time to pass to the open man as they are able to take their time more. When the double team is ON TIME because of poor outside shooting, Haas tends to struggle. At times last night, he showed better prescence when the double was on time though. AJ really improved on passing out of double teams even when they were on time last season as a senior...it's probably the hardest thing a big man has to learn.I think it is the other way around. When we are hitting our 3's, then Caleb and Haas can go one on one. When they don't, then they get double teamed.
Also am I the only one to see Haas get his off arm raked continually? Haas looked like he did a better job rebounding. He seems to take a long time to box out his man and will continue to be more effective once he gets quicker at it. This is a recommendation and not a criticism, but he also needs to gamble. When he see someone driving to the basket with his head down, Haas has to commit 100% to going after the driver to block his shot. He needs to have a spectacular block early and then go back to correctly defending his man and then the basket. His step outs have been very good.

This. Unfortunately.I understand what you are saying, but my point also incorporates the post about Haas' elbows. Haas is a big strong kid, but unfortunately being that big he looks slow even compared to AJ. The refs are afraid he will hurt someone and it seems all questionable (either O or D) calls will go against him on either end of the floor.
Louisville was a perfect example how our players were called for reach ins, yet Louisville was reaching in constantly against Haas. Replays showed where he got blocked against Louisville and ASU that the defender raked his off arm and followed through to block the shot. Even when the ref called the foul and Jay Bilas watched the replay Jay was saying it was a good block. Yes the ball was blocked clean by one player, but the post defender was all over his left arm.
These reach ins at Louisville IMO had more to do with Haas having problems passing out of the block. The fact that we were hitting the 3's had a lot to do with the double coming late and Haas looking improved against ASU.
Unfortunately Haas has to continue his relatively meek game, because we don't want him in foul trouble. But, if the officials do not call the rakes against him and he has only 1 foul or less in the first half than I would recommend a well placed elbow during the 1st rake of the 2nd half.

My friend Fibonacci thinks it will be 8 threes next week.1, 1, 3, 3, 5......it's going to be really fun to watch him hit 7 threes against ND next week.

Ryan was only 2-4 from three yesterday. What's up with that?Cline needs to stop shooting open 3's and force the ball into a double team instead.
You're off by 1 (the first '3'), but still very clever! My friend Fibonacci thinks it will be 8 threes next week.
Johnny and Todd which came first the chicken or the egg? I think you guys are in a similar discussion lol
