It’s all the same Athletic Department and same Fan Base that closed their eyes to the stink in the Department. And your fans were fine with it all till the Feds and the NCAA looked like they were coming after you. To some universities character counts....
False. No fans knew anything about strippers or payments from shoe companies until it came out in the news. Stick to Purdue because you're out of your element.
And all that said, it has nothing to do with football.
So the message board determines if the football program is in shambles? Yikes. Cardmarch looks like any other board where the current coach isn't winning. Hardly the "mess" the media and Purdue doomsday prophets are making it out to be.
So if i'm connecting the dots correctly:
1.) Brohm wouldn't have been willing to come back to L'ville if Jurich was still the AD.
2.) Jurich was fired in part because he didn't show appropriate oversite of Rick Pitino and the basketball operations.
3.) Rick Pitino's trouble started when it was reported that his staff was setting up sex parties with strippers for recruits.
So is the life lesson here "don't have sex with strippers because it can only lead you down the path to misery.....unless you're L'ville, then I guess it all works out in the end."?
Maybe for Purdue fans the life lesson is more like "watch out for your neighbor who is having sex with strippers because if his wife catches him and leaves him he may try to hook up with your wife."

Typically, when schools are caught, it isn’t by the school. It’s usually the press. Who caught you all under Keady? There have been no settlements. Pitino’s case is shaky at best. The athletic dept being broke is news to me. The boosters are returning as well as corporate backing who left when they thought Jurich was wrongly fired. That AD learning on the job is a big part of that.
Only sanctions have been towards men’s b-ball- who just signed a top 5 recruiting class yesterday. Not exactly screaming “shambles”
Basically, management that didn’t do their job were let go because of it. Now there’s new management. Happens every day

We didn’t fire him. An AD no longer here who had hired a head coach, who was also a good friend who was in his wedding, did.
Now, it’s in Brohm’s favor since it is his family friend who is the AD now

Again, the person who demoted him was an AD trying to save his friend the head coach and he’s gone. Also, pretty sure you responded to me first so I think the stalking term falls on you.

Allow CJB to be demoted to a non-coaching position to save a head coach that is no where to be found on the relevant coaching landscape..Ugly!
U of L`s position when they hired Petrino was that they wanted a football coach not a saint Ugly!
Charlie Strong doing the Bump with a U of L boosters wife...Ugly!
