I was thinking about how productive some of Painter's recruiting classes have been and comparing that with some of their incoming rankings and expectations. How well did these classes perform at Purdue, how was retention, what kind of awards did they garner while in college?

So, looking at Purdue's classes from 2006-present (I don't count 2005; too many outlier variables) how would you rank the eight classes who have either graduated or completed half their eligibility?

2006: Keaton Grant, Chris Kramer, Jonathan Uchendu, Dan Vandervieran
2007: E'twaun Moore, JaJuan Johnson, Robbie Hummel, Scott Martin, Nemanja Calasan
2008: Lewis Jackson, Ryne Smith, John Hart
2009: D.J. Byrd, Kelsey Barlow, Patrick Bade, Sandi Marcius
2010: Terone Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Travis Carroll
2011: Jacob Lawson, Donnie Hale
2012: A.J. Hammons, Rapheal Davis, Ronnie Johnson, Jay Simpson
2013: Kendall Stephens, Bryson Scott, Basil Smotherman

Here's how I would list them:

1. 2007 -- 3 All-Americans, 3 banners, 1 B1G POY, 1 B1G DPOY, 3 All-B1G players, 4 starters, 1 transfer
2. 2012 -- 1 Big Ten DPOY, 2 All-Big Ten players, 3 starters, 1 transfer, 1 medical redshirt
3. 2006 -- 2x Big Ten DPOY, 2 All-Big Ten players, 2 starters, 2 transfers
4. 2008 -- 1 All-Big Ten player, 2 starters, 1 transfer
5. 2010 -- 1 All-Big Ten player, 1 starter, 1 transfer
6. 2009 -- 1 All-Big Ten player, 1 6th man award, 2 starters, 2 transfers, 1 dismissal
7. 2013 -- 1 starter, 1 transfer
8. 2011 -- 2 transfers

If I had to project the other two current classes I would have them:

2-5 range. 2014 -- 2 All-Big Ten candidates, 3+ starters
5-7 range. 2015 -- 1 All-Big Ten candidate, 1+ starters

Thoughts?
