I couldn't help myself and ventured over to the Peeg-Sty to see some of the posts.
"Highlights" included:
- The B10 conspired to have Purdue beat IU so they could be an additional team in the NCAA tourney. "All about the benjamens" (their spelling)
- The B10 will conspire (this is a different poster than above) to make sure IU beats either Iowa or MSU so they (IU) doesn't miss the NCAA
- IU is a Top 10 next year if they can get a decent big man JUCO or transfer (I'm assuming he's thinking a 5th year player). Disregard the fact that they don't have any room for other players.
- IU, if they make the NCAA, will be the worst adjusted defensive team (Kenpom) ever from a major conference. They are currently #246. The current low is from 2008 Oregon who was 180th.
Also, Purdue made the Top Ten in ESPN's "Scariest Mascot" piece. Pete came in at #10. Not sure if that's good or bad. Sparty was #1. See link.
