Auburn is closer to a 10 win team than a true 7-5 team. It’s not like they were getting beat by marginal teams and they certainly were not blown out in many of them.

That being said, Purdue’s defense is bad up front and without Neal it’s a glaring weakness.

agree, JDB.....losing Neal really hurts bigtime in general, but it's even more magnified against a team like Auburn.

TV showed a stat early that 4 of Auburn's 5 losses were to teams that ended in the top 20, so there's a huge strength of schedule difference.
