Well, folks...it's another rivalry game. And it seems like Deja Vu all over agin.....The Boilers, coming off a huge effort/win on the road......right back on the road for another huge challenge.....this time the Boilers head into Assembly Hall, where the Indiana Hoosiers will be waiting. I don't know how much really needs to be stated here......big game for both squads as both teams are currently 3-3 in the conference tied for sixth a half-game back of Ohio State, and Indiana's schedule over the next two weeks gets much tougher than it's been. In addition, one would think the Boilers will get the Hoosiers' best shot, as Purdue goes for its eighth straight victory in the series. A couple of question marks for Indiana as to the line-up - Armaan Franklin and Rob Phinisee are apparently game-time decisions battling some injuries. Regardless, Indiana has enough to hurt Purdue if the Boilers are unable to match intensity.

These games have generally been very competitive with close results....hard to figure the effect of the lack of a crowd, but regardless, the newcomers to both teams will get a little bit of a sense of how hotly contested this rivalry can be. Given the make-up of the teams, it could be another barn burner, and the Boilers will need to be patient and focused. Being able to effectively defend Trayce Jackson-Davis and the rest of the Hoosiers in the paint will be a key barometer. Get impatient or run into some foul trouble, and it could be a long night. On offense, the Boilers hopefully can work through Trevion Williams on the inside and also set up some good perimeter shots.

Take care of the ball, keep the Hoosiers off the offensive glass, and effectively defend the 3-pt line.....and it could be a good night for Purdue. If the Boilers can play like they did in the second half against Michigan State, it may be an uphill battle for Indiana. Can the Boilers keep it rolling?

We shall see shortly......tip coming up on FS1 in a little less than an hour.

Boiler Up, my friends.
