Purdue got hosed.

It wasn’t a mental lapse - we have guarded inbounds plays like that most of this season. Braden made the call to cut off the angle on the cutter to the rim when Cox got screened hard.

Tugler made a heady play to throw back to Uzan for the basket as the rotations were late.
But then wasn’t Cox supposed to drop down to the baseline? Someone has to have the inbounds man.

That can't have been the plan. There's zero chance Cox can get from top of the key all the way down to cover the inbounder, the Flash maybe.

Honestly - I’m not sure. There was a missed assignment for someone covering. Assuming the goal was to block Tugler from getting the ball and when those rotations happened and were missed, we were in trouble.

That is a play that doesn’t happen if we had Zach or a true big to clog the lane.

I don’t care what anyone says. Purdue got hosed.

Multiple missed out of bounds calls which gave Houston possession. Most notably one that resulted in a Cryer three pointer.

Multiple BS fouls on TKR and Furst while legally boxing out.

And, of course, the blatant push-off that wasn’t called.

What a joke. Refs were a disgrace.
I don’t think that was a legitimate no call

We didn't even get a kiss or a goodbye after the game.
