Purdue lands a commitment from former South Dakota State big man Oscar Cluff. The 6-foot-11 Aussie averaged 17.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game for the Jackrabbits.

Saw an isu poster say we offered 2.3 million to land him and they offered 1.5. Shocking if true. But glad to see us stepping into the modern world of competitive NIL recruiting.
Or someone in our NIL office may want to check their offers. 53% higher than market seems a bit off, especially when managing an overall budget.

who starts next year with tkr, smith and loyer? will cluff start over jacobsen? who will be the other guard?

I have the same question? cluff and TKR are both back to basket players ( though TKR has evolved a bit) can thy play together? It did not work so well with Edey. Jacobsen can play the four, but Cluff isn't coming here to be a backup...it's a good problem to have,

One would think that if TKR wants to play at the next level, back to the basket isn't going to be his path.. so.. perhaps that changes even more now as he has a whole offseason to further improve.

Like you said, it's a good problem to have.

I don't see TKR in the NBA. Maybe Europe? But....I've been wrong before.
