Purdue at Washington: MASTER DISCUSSION THREAD

Perfect example of why some people shouldn't drink and post. I just hope he is posting from home instead of a bar, where he then has to drive home.

LOL. Disagree, that dude doesn't need booze to be wacko loopy. Have seen his posts on here & the GD board. He's highly emotional and IF a Purdue grad, didn't do it with honors if you know what I mean.

Some of these posts by the same dopes get my blood pressing riding, at 54 with a 1 year old it’s probably high enough lol. Can you imagine if after half Painter benched TKR who finished with 19 and 6 the rest of the game? Or how about benching all the starters playing the reserves? Sure let’s play Burgess/Waddell/Berg, Harris, Heide, that would win them the game. There’s a few on here that have the takes of a spoiled 10 year old child expecting Purdue to just roll over teams every game.
The best advice I can give is to not fret over it. Inside every game are a lot of opinions and some are more accurate than others. Over time you just realize that is the way it is. Opinions do NOT have to have a relevant understanding to be held...and so you will see them in many areas of life and sometimes without that background they are still correct. I get your frustration with the hot takes...especially when you too are frustrated with what you see. Just know you wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with some that have little poise and mental toughness and that everybody responds differently to different stimuli. There is a reason why referee wives typically move away from crowds when their husband is doing a game. In addition to seeing spacing, there are reasons why coaches go up high and maybe to a corner to scout a game. Go to a game that you really have no interest in and you will find hot takes there as well.

Understand that hot takes don't have to be taken personally. Those hot takes you remember were probably not addressed to anyone in particular...just a statement.

Went to bed @ half, and watched second half @ 5 am. Great way to start the day.

Even better I woke up healthy with no more Flu.

D was there all game, Cox and Furst were particularly good defenders. Smith was good defender in H2.

Glad CMP found the answer to what they were doing in H1......and the kids executed his plan well. Great game by Furst. Glad to see Loyer wake up in H2.

Also great showing by Purdue faithful at Washington. Likely, Purdue engineering grads at Boeing and other Corps Love the fan presence there.
Reminded me of game last season at Michigan when Purdue fans could easily be heard on broadcast chanting "Whose house, Our house".
