Purdue at Washington: MASTER DISCUSSION THREAD

Might be best to go to bed on this team. And watch later Why not Purdue is playing asleep......should I just join them??

This is ****ing pathetic. Washington SUCKS and is missing one of its main players on top of it and we look like this. Ive gotten sick of tkr lately

After last game, I kinda wondered if we used up all our mojo on offense. Clearly it's going to be a poor shooting night.

They are going to have to make it up on defense, and play a lot better on that end

We have passed up so many wide open shots. And then Smith gets double and triple teamed up top and he can't find a wide open player. I'm not sure what the hell is going on with this team tonight. It's very very ugly though.

Dang - they'll have to adjust that rim after all the bricks.....good gravy. Two more from TKR at the line.
TKR should have stayed home, complete garbage for an experienced player. Throw up one hand runners, travels, can't dribble, standing flat footed on D so he can't rebound, still can't shoot FT's along w/ Furst

Washington is doing the thing that teams that beat us do, hard hedge up high and extreme pressure to speed us up.

Loyer trying to duplicate his UConn game, no points getting caught trying to help on D and leave his man wide open for an easy 3. Don't get it

Welp - mercifully, that half is over....Purdue down 30-22. 10/25 (0-6, 3pt FG's), 7 TO's, 2/6 FT's. Boilers do have 7 steals, but Washington is also 5/11 from beyond the arc.

Boilers need a huge energy boost and a super strong beginning to the next half.

One of those nights, and shots are not falling, but Painter has to be a little disappointed with the effort and lack of attention/awareness for a huge part of the half. Purdue looks a step and a half behind, candidly.

Plenty of time to right the ship......it's usually not quite as bad as it seems, but teams aren't always as good as they look at times either. Freshman are still struggling on the road - need a Minnesota/Rutgers - game like 2nd half.

We shall see.
