Wilson left. He found no better offers, and asked to return. To me, Brohm had a choice, to allow Wilson to return. Or to use his scholarship on other players. I have to believe the only reason Brohm offered Nixon a scholarship was because Wilson left. Brohm could have replaced Wilson with Nixon. But he decided to take Wilson back, and Nixon now rescheduled his visit, and is no longer a priority. If Brohm had received a commitment from Harris last week, I doubt he would have brought Wilson back.
Therefore, despite the fact he played for us for 2 years, Wilson essentially became a free agent and should be considered as a recruit much like a JuCo or grad transfer. If this was Bryson Scott wanting to come back as a grad transfer, he'd be considered among recruits and commitments.
I still can't believe it's 7:30 pm on Sunday night and we have zero commitments. Many other schools made announcements yesterday.
