Last two nights have gone according to plan for Purdue’s Big Ten hopes.
Michigan collects its third loss and this afternoon, Oregon comes back from down double digits to beat Wisconsin in overtime. That puts the Badgers to five losses, tied with Purdue in the loss column.
So Purdue trails both Michigan and Michigan State by two in the loss column. Both teams still play each other one more time and have difficult finishing schedules.
Purdue’s hopes are still slim but getting wider in the last two days.
