Unfortunately, the only jailbreak was for the Minnesota rush and O'Connell took the rap for negative 10 yds....killed that drive. Boilers defense has to force a mistake somewhere down the line.
Our whole season hinges on this offensive line. If they can't do simple blocking and protection consistently, it doesn't matter who is our QB as they will either be sacked or constantly rushed.
what's up w/ opposing punters hitting 65 yd punts constantly from open end of stadium.
Yeah their punter is solid. Consistently left us really long fields and that explains how our offense has looked okay but having to drive 80+ yards every possession is daunting to say the least. We need that elusive D turnover in the plus field 
was feeling confident at half not anymore, missed FG's are deflating
Welp. That’s it folks. Refs called their one obligatory PI. Minnesota cried. Now they’ve got free reign.
That's three scoring mistakes for the Boilers....tough to overcome in an evenly-matched game. Still a one possession game, though.
I guess I can see getting the points then stopping them then driving and getting another FG for the win.
Tactically makes sense .. but moot now.
