Maxwell Evans and Savion Flagg........2017

The more I read about these two, the more impressed I am with them.

Big fan of Flagg and his game and how he is a coaches son...very disciplined young man.

Evans is like a Kenny Lowe type Big Ten body and gritty....love those kind.

I have to say I am impressed with the coaching staff and the young men they are getting interest from.

I think the pipeline has sprung a leak.

All kidding aside, that's too bad. Seems like a good kid and a good player. He's really in what I think some people view as that sweet spot in the rankings (top 50 - 75 range)... where a kid is good enough to give you some help in year 1, but not to the point where you're overly worried about him being a 1-and-done (or even 2-and-done) player. Kind of a Vince Edwards type that you can get 3 good years out of them and build a nice core for the team.

Normally I would tell you to go take a flying leap...but Nat100..I know that is just your dry humor and I understand you can't help it.

I really liked both of them....well maybe that is a sign other SG and SF are going to step forward and commit like Goodwin or Eastern.

I liked Flagg, but didnt think we would get him. Im hoping for eastern above anyone else in the class. I know everyone loves bigs, but i would really like to get an elite wing.

FYI, i think Goodwin eliminated us.

With the Spain trip and the way official visits are lining up, this class is going to come together late. I doubt that Purdue gets a verbal in August.

Ya I bet your right. Painter always had his classes made before the kids started their senior year of high school, but times have changed with the way kids handle recruiting.
