Out of 351 d1 schools Purdue is maybe 20th to 40th most attractive for a coach to come to? Purdue is not the name of a state.

Or Purdue football? Painter has done better than keady at this point in their careers. Fire painter? And settle? Just like we settled for keady for 25 years? We aren't getting coach k or calipari or self or etc. Painter isn't the goat, but he gets the best recruits he can to play his hard nosed, team first, defense not optional style. Fire painter! Well, it would be silly for an experienced adult to argue on the internet with a kid who admits he still lives with his parents. I may try to provide counterpoints to your thinking in the future, but my goal will only be to get you to try to use reason instead of emotion.
Didn't know being in college was so bad. Guess only old guys can be Purdue fans and have opinions. Your "counterpoints" have to wait until the future because currently there is nothing to defend Painter's March performances at this point in his coaching career. Bet those "counterpoints" won't be coming at me if Purdue fails to reach the Elite Eight.
You are preemptively being emotional about a bunch of "ifs" that haven't happened. What did happen is that Purdue won their first game and you immediately came to the board wanting the coach fired. That is irrational, as is your statement that you will be "mad" if the team doesn't perform to your expectations. You should have taken your own advice and waited before demanding his head.
We have a lot of that on here during a game when things look bleak. Your statement though holds true I think for anyone calling for Painter to be fired after this season no matter what happens tonight. I just don't see how anyone can logically (and not emotionally) call for that based off of the way this season panned out.
