Didnt we start wearing them on Rick mount night?

We wore them to honor the 1996 three-pete Big Ten Championship team against Nebraska last year. We won that game when Hammons had like 7 dunks. We then wore them again for Senior night against Wisconsin, which we won when Biggie dominated Haap. We then wore them for the first two game of the Big Ten tourney when we destroyed Michigan and Illinois. For the Championship we had to wear black as Michigan State was the higher seed. We did wear them for Little Rock. Prior to yesterday, our record in those uniforms was 4-1. I personally like them as I don't care much for the cow-catcher "Purdue" across the jersey. I prefer the traditional arched "Purdue" in plain text. Either way, I can see why they wore the jerseys as we won our two Big Ten tournament games last year wearing them.

I wish we would upgrade our uni game like the football program has with their jerseys and helmets. The old school throwbacks likely aren't impressing any potential recruits.
