Auburn in the Liberty Bowl is the typical IU fan retort the last couple of years.

As if losing to that team was a bad thing. That team was much more talented than their record showed for the season. Gus Malzahn is an excellent play caller. That Auburn team is better than ANY team IU has lost to in bowl games since 1991 (Utah, Tennessee, Ole Miss).

And when you factor in them having the worst bowl record in CFB history, it becomes even more hilarious.
