International Summer Tournament

I cannot remember the exact year Purdue played international ball during the summer. I believe the rule is a school can do it at most once every 5 years. I think this summer would be awesome if Purdue could have the opportunity to have that summer bonding time with a lot of guys coming back and just getting some more practice together.

As I typed this I remembered Hammons and Davis were part of the last team last time the team traveled oversees. So I guess the next summer it would be available would be next summer,,, maybe the on after that.

I think that summer was the first year that incoming freshmen could participate in summer tournaments. Davis led the team in scoring on that tour if I recall correctly.

It looks like the interval is every 4 years. So I think the team may need to wait one more year.

I would think we'd be trying to schedule one if we haven't already. It's what, 10 extra days of practice? And it might also be a useful recruiting tool.
