Maybe in a three game series, but last night Cincy was the better team. Congrats to them for exploiting the weaknesses Purdue has had all year...lousy and at times totally stupid decision making when shooting unwarranted three's...terrible free throw shooting...missing lay up's....and do I need remind all of AJ getting smacked up side the head with the ball when he wasn't even looking for it when the lane was open for a dunk....all of which would have given PU the win.Originally posted by paintball1979:
I think we are a better team than Cincinnati. It just doesn't matter in this tournament, it's one and done if you can't finish. Baylor a three seed couldn't finish yesterday either. This team and coach needs to figure that out even if everybody comes back.
The lane was not open for a dunk. His defender was right in front of him waiting and even if he caught the ball it probably would have been a charge.Originally posted by TwinDegrees2:

Gain experience but lose our best PG (by quite a bit). Feels like a wash to me unless Stephens can make the big jump we all know he is capable of.Originally posted by *4purdue*:
Then I'm ok with it. Next years team will be much more prepared to make a run in the B1G and NCAA than this years was.
