But I have a good feeling about this.....Swanigan is not only our best player, but he will be our voodoo breaker. The impossible odds of the Swanigan rise breaks the spell of the Purdue jinx.

On playing four of the final five regular-season games on the road: “Teams that are traditionally in the NCAA Tournament … and now it’s the new wave of teams that are pretty good. Minnesota, Northwestern, Nebraska, all on the road. The home game we’ve got, is a team I think could win the national championship, Purdue and they’re just really, really good.

That's high praise. I am still concerned about our ability to play down to an opponent. The next five games will tell us a lot. If we make it through unscathed, I will start to get excited.

Beilein has consistently praised CMP and Purdue the last few years, and I think CMP has a lot of respect for him and his program....part of what helped bring Spike Albrecht to Purdue. Probably one of the better coach-to-coach relationships between two of the conference schools.

Despite that.....gonna be another tough challenge for the Boilers in Ann Arbor. It never ends.
