Conference tournaments are actually quasi-reverse psychology in that the championship game actually tends to have the least demand (granted, depending on certain opponents).
Also, it's an advantage that Purdue's playing in the daytime session, which will dampen demand vs. the night session.
Last, I would suggest rooting for Michigan to beat Illinois, which would keep the "hometown" crowd away for the Wisconsin game, keeping ticket prices lower.
I'd wait til after the tournament starts to buy your ticket on StubHub. The tickets on Ticketmaster for the session are behind the basket (granted you can get a low row) for $60. There are tickets on StubHub in the $50 range and better tickets available in the $60 range than what you can get on Ticketmaster. However, the first 2 levels are basically all the different school allotments, so there isn't much for sale there (which boosts ticket prices in those areas). Once schools start losing, there will be more inventory.
