Bill, I agree totally. Next year Haas will get more breaks and more calls that don't go against him as the refs realize the kid really is a class person.Originally posted by Bill4411:
I'm not surprised. I'm sure we will be hearing this throughout his career although other coaches know better-even Crean. Haas's size makes him more equivalent to a high school senior playing against 7th graders. However, at some point the Big Ten is going to relish his star power and it will be interesting to see how they officiate next year (being really telegenic and very well spoken in front of the camera will pay dividends for him and Purdue).
