I certainly haven't read all the posts, but if I ignore that the FBI declared there was no insurrection, will I learn how an unarmed insurrection works if I continue to read? I can't recall any in history, but there has to be a link of unmetered history available that explains how an unarmed insurrection works.

It is my litmus test for stupidity. I could get there with a longer route, but this reveals it very quickly. As simple as I can make it without going into all the feel good do nothing laws that suck away freedom and increase control for those afflicted with neurosis, I'll just state that the 400,000,000 guns in this country have been around for a long time and many years ago before the rampant emotional pleas for those needing pablum to "feel good" about doing something...anything...just make me feel good laws were in place, there were not the shooting. I'm pretty comfortable in my belief that I have worked for kids in schools much more than you as evidence would suggest in my background of pedagogy and education in general. It wasn't due to being fine with anyone being shot, whether a lot at one time or a lot of times for another shot but a genuine concern for the youth.

Hell kids had guns in their cars when the drove to school years ago and would go huntinig after school. What has changed though that the left ignore...and what the left have created is a devaluing of life (as my mind wanders to Hillary and her "what difference does it make?). Still, like the dems in general we can't hold the individual responsible for anything...it has to be societies fault (choice B on many soc exams). Mother Teresa pointed this out almost three decades ago in her 1994 National Prayer Breakfast speech which I'll provide a snippet here...and she has a hell of a lot more logical thought and historical evidence that any gun control effect.
