Then we finished the half strong. Thought that was critical we took their best stretch of the game and answered. Very satisfying win. My nervousness during this game was IU like, couldn't bear to lose this one to crybaby.

I don't think Painter called a TO there because we were pretty much executing the plan still. MSU just hit 7 of their first 10 threes and I felt like the defense was playing as designed. I think we wanted most of those guys to be taking those shots. They just were hot early but we were still executing so he chose to play through it.

The difference this year is we have the offensive firepower to keep up with teams when they are "playing way above their average". That wasn't the case last year.

Probably true, but a timeout could also be called to cool the other team off, or to quiet the crowd. It obviously wan't needed though. Although I will say that crowd was crazy loud.
