Tamara Farquhar, a 6-foot forward from Quebec, has committed to Purdue, per a source. Second commit to Sharon Versyp in ‘17 class, joining forward Dani Lawson. Chose the Boilermakers over Michigan State and others.

According to Mike Carmin, she is the #5 ranked Canadian WBB recruit for 2017, whatever that means.

There have been some very good players out of Canada. One is starring now for UCONN, and one Notre Dame grad is playing for the Indiana Fever. I would think a top five recruit from Canada would be very good.
