a. Establish running game
b. Don’t turn the ball over
c. Rotate in subs to prevent 4th quarter fatigue
d. In lieu of a-c, keep doing what you did to build the lead to begin with

I really felt like a, b, and c failed miserably last night, and the only choice was to keep the pedal down. Instead we saw QB draws with a non running QB, abandoning the tight end, and a fatigued upright RB behind a line that was getting no push.

If nothing else positive comes out of yesterday, this team at least has an identity established. This is a team that is better suited for comebacks and possibly running a few teams off the field. But this team is not going to win grinders or milk the clock. We desperately miss Knox and Jones. We need to pass 50+ times a game and find creative ways to get our playmakers the ball, even when playing with the lead. The best thing we did the entire second half was call that flea flicker. Unfortunately after that things got extremely vanilla.
