There is one use for a football team this absolutely horrible. Purdue fails to cover the spread almost every week with the occasional surprise. Purdue would be one great team to bet on to lose the spread. Should we keep Burke? We can all take bets in Vegas or online and rake in the cash. Put this to good use. Burke paid Hazell over 13 million, and with hidden awards he probably got a lot more. Needless to say at over 6 million per big ten win over 4 years that was one hell of a wrench Burke threw in Purdue's athletics tires. You couldn't have done as bad as Hazell if you brought a knife to a gun fight out there or a pony to the Indy 500. I mean talk about a betting opportunity. Just skip the dummy teams Burke schedules at the beginning of the year. Just bet heavy against the good teams we play and bank on a Purdue fart. You'll get it 9 times out of ten with the occasional better than expected result.
One thing you won't get is a Purdue win so take the over under season ending result too. I mean Hazell's coaching staff is about as bad a coaching staff as I have ever seen period. That includes high school. I can guarantee a high school coaching staff at any level of reasonable success could have did better than Hazell's staff did. That includes anything from recruiting to common sense play calling. I can guarantee you one thing in stone, you wouldn't see an on sides kick at the back 9 of the 3rd quarter after a big scoring play. What was that except a gigantic tire slash by the coach. It was as if the coaching staff took a flame thrower to the house. Unbelievable. There is a 90% chance Purdue misses a field goal against any decent defense. If we are playing a team with a moderate defense bet that a field goal will be missed by Purdue. You'll be rich believe me.
