last night. 3 assists/1 turnover, 2 boards, 1 steal......that is good work for 15 minutes of action. Actually thought he played good defense as well, but Russell is just unbelievably good.
If he ever consistently embraces the role that he is best suited for.... he still has a bright future ahead of him at Purdue.
Defense, take care of the basketball, low volume shooter....the three keys for playing time rest of the year. If he becomes a little more dynamic offensively, then perhaps next year his role can expand on offense.
