Re: middle of nowhere Texas?

The opposite of "law and order" is anarchy. Some of you lefties seem to be ok with anarchy reigning in this nation of ours.

unequal application of law and order will sooner or later devolve into anarchy as well.

What evidence do you have that......

......the law is being unequally applied?

Don't tell me its the crap about blacks and hispanics being disproportionately arrested/convicted.

Re: middle of nowhere Texas?

How do you feel about Cliven Bundy?

Re: Another simple question...

1. He didn't "need" to be taken down the cops decided to take him down. He didn't need to be arrested quite frankly.

2. The "black offender" has multiple ARRESTS. You understand that an arrest is not a conviction correct? How many convictions does he actually have? (Hint: it's a number MUCH smaller than the 31 arrests). What does that tell you?

3. When someone is in distress, you respond to it, to be sure, particularly when you have provided the distress (rightly or wrongly). He laid there, just like the kid who was shot laid there, just like others in this situation laid there, with no attention. Because those cops viewed those folks as not worth medical attention.

From what I've gathered, he was alive after the "choke hold". Even said he can't breath after the choke hold was released, if I understand correctly.

Was alive afterward.

I could be wrong, but would like to see the evidence the choke hold was the cause of death.

Okay, I'll give you that. He was a victim of an onerous government which cannot suckle enough from the teet of the taxpayers. They demand their taxes and booty.

But, he was engaged in illegal activity, per the all-knowing state.

What needed to happen to him when he refused to comply? Let him walk?

How long did they wait to respond? How many perps claim they ... "can't breathe"... when being cuffed and arrested, especially after resisting arrest?

And who was "the kid who was shot just laid there"?

So, your conclusion is the cops suck, they're human debris, because (in your opinion) the perp isn't "worth medical attention"? And you expect to be taken seriously?

Really?

Do you not have a clue how ridiculously stupid your post sounds when read?

Re: What was the cause of death?

I'm not sure the medical examiner's report is fully available on line, but most articles I've seen come to pretty much the same conclusion as the one below (taken from the linked article):

"The medical examiner ruled that Eric Garner's death was a homicide,
citing the chokehold and compression of the chest as the cause of
death; Garner's obesity, high blood pressure, and asthma were listed as
contributing factors as well."

That, coupled with the video, makes it pretty clear to me that he used a choke hold.

Had Pantaleo not used a prohibited technique and Garner still died, the cop would not be at fault.
