I'm guessing most of you have seen, perhaps even purchased, the Lance Jones dance t-shirt. Well with Purdue's pop-up NIL store opening tomorrow, and a new piece of Purdue merchandise dropping with the Edey sledgehammer t-shirt, I wanted to talk with the man behind both shirt designs. I sat down on zoom with Colin Gallagher to get some background on the design, but the talk was so fun that I thought I'd share it here with Boiler Upload subscribers.
The Lance Jones shirt was the third most popular item in all of the NIL stores with Edey's jersey being the best selling for the month of January. Purdue was the #1 selling school in the nation and had 4 of the top 10 highest selling male athletes.
I say this because I don't think we'll be seeing the last of Colin's designs crossing with Purdue athletes. Hope you folks enjoy the chat and his thought process behind them.
