The NBA Draft will begin at approximately 7 (ET) tonight on ESPN.

Can you correctly predict where Caleb Swanigan will be picked (without taking possible trades into account, i.e., where/when he's initially selected)?

I'll start and say that he gets picked #42 overall by the Utah Jazz.

43rd to Rockets. As much as i would want him drafted in the 1st round, the reality is that a team doesn't have to use that pick on him when they know they could get him later in the draft....

8 picks left in the 1st round. Will he make a 1st round pick or will he be second round goods in the NBA eyes. Will our best player and highest recruit since Glen Robinson be second round goods even with leading college basketball in rebounds, double doubles, and scoring 18 points a game? 8 picks left in round 1. Correct me 7 picks left an IU player taken along with a Michigan player before him. Goodness gracious...... I mean really????

Nope. Still say JJ was better than Caleb. Both were EXCELLENT college players

'm going to predict Portland at #26. They run a fast break team which doesn't fit his style of play, and also drafted Giles at the same position, so they have no real need, and it makes no sense at all. A terrible situation. but that's the NBA.

Much like my Bucks drafting Wilson - a terrible pick and fit for Milwaukee. what the Bucks desperately needed was a center who could play defense. not the second coming of brad Lohaus. But after hiring the ball boy to be their new GM, they punted and were too scared to draft Giles because of his injury history.

. Too soon ?

I had stated in one of my many earlier posts about whether biggie should stay or go , that biggie would be a low first round pick. he proved me right!

thank you.

The NBA recently seem to be drafting US players on potential while drafting foreign league players on production...could be why there are so many busts and injuries with US collegiate players after only one year in college playing 30-35 games versus 82+!

Glad he made it as a 1st round selection to get that financial stability he was looking for...now to stick with the Team and not play in the D league should be his next goal!
