It is truly mind-blowing looking at the scenarios. I'm so glad Purdue isn't involved in any of this.
Trying to figure out who can be in the 8/9 game is utterly ridiculous.
The only thing I can put forward is what would happen if the 'expected' results this weekend happen. But even that isn't easy. Here are my predictions on spreads:
Saturday
MSU -8 vs OSU - I did see it come out at -7 on another site
Sunday
Purdue -7.5 vs Illinois
Indiana -4.5 vs Michigan
Iowa -9 vs Nebraska
Wisconsin -2 @ Minnesota
Penn St -1 vs Maryland
Rutgers -3.5 vs Northwestern
If those projections hold, the 8/9 game will be Illinois vs Northwestern. Iowa 2, Indiana 3, and Michigan St sneaks in as the 4 with the odd game.
