Best ever Purdue Frosh on Defense?

Was listening to Alan talking about the best ever Frosh on defense and they left out one of the best ever a Linebacker from South Bend He had a few games as a freshman with over 20 tackles and i believe still leads Purdue in all time tackles at 520 tackles or close to it. Gentlemen I know you remember #58 he was a tackling machine all 4 years . A integral part of the Junk defense in the late 70's His name Kevin Motts old #58

It's hard to argue against any they picked.

In a way, I'm glad they skipped GK. While he's a stud, I dislike many of these conversations because of "recency bias".

GK will go down as one of the best FR of all time. It was good to see them mention players from decades ago. Brings back some very fond memories, and caused me to fire up the search engine!
