Baylor is the last...

I think at this point it's Baylor and everyone else.

That's not to say they won't slip a time or two, but they are long, athletic, and defend. Their intensity is off the charts.

Agreed. With all they lost from the championship team, it's pretty amazing. Scott Drew has done a great job there. They will lose a few games no doubt. But I don't think anyone outside of Waco or Lawrence is all that good in the Big 12 this year. Haven't seen much of Huggy Bear yet though.

Way to go Texas Tech! I forgot they had Silva from VCU and the forward from Oral Roberts. Talk about building a team from the portal. Most was from Beard though.

Yes it was a terrible possession. Terrible pass by Texas Tech to even let Baylor get that close at the end. No more unbeatens

Harrison Ingram looks pretty good for Stanford. Would have been a nice get.
Another guy where it was REALLY easy to see why he was a priority and target for Painter/Purdue...he would have been a huge get...I think that was the feeling when he was being recruited, but, it is clear in watching them now as well.

They are good at both ends...

They ended up losing tonight, but, like you, I feel like they are the most complete/best team.

Deep and talented, and, play with a lot of intensity as well.

They had absolutely 0 offense in the 2nd half. I didn't see the first half. 2nd half they did not look special at all.

Wait I thought it was bad to lose at home. Didn’t Baylor just lose a home game? This setting up to put Zaga back on top.
And, they will stay there likely for some time, if not the rest of the way, as, they just don't have much competition at all.

Baylor is good...really good...they are going to be top 5 likely all year.

3-9 will all rotate at times likely, assuming they all win more often than not.

Purdue should move up a spot or two before the next poll if it takes care of Nebraska on Friday, and, then has two huge games next week that could further help their cause and further cement their place near the top of the polls.

I may have spoke early Auburn has terrible guard play and takes horrendous shots. It’s just that they make a few of their awful shots.

Purdue is still the best offensive team I have watched tonight.
Auburn is helter/skelter and drives tempo...they get a ton of points in transition or off of defense it seems in the times that I have watched them.

Easy to shortchange Baylor because they lost tonight, but, they almost got lulled into getting too comfortable as they were scoring almost too easily early in the game, then, struggled to get back to playing with more energy after TT had stepped it up. Baylor is very similar to what they were a year ago...they miss Vital...they still have guards, but, they miss that post guy that Vital was. They play with a ton of energy defensively.

TT looked sneaky good tonight actually, and, on the heels of an impressive win against Kansas, and, down one of their better players, they are a team to keep an eye on and that could be an issue in March.

Wow that was a horrible last possession by Baylor.
There looked to be some confusion in the huddle in the timeout before it as to what they were going to do, and, it certainly carried over to the floor.

Baylor seemingly played it right to that point and could have gone for a quick 2, and, in hindsight, likely should have.

The Big 12 games sure are fun to watch this year. I hope we can ramp up our game to 11 by NCAAT time, if we hope to outlast Baylor, TTech, Kansas or a couple others. Good seeing Florida State knock off Miami last night too. Too bad Alabama couldn’t get it done. Conference season is a killer again everywhere.

What are you smoking? They don’t have a chance to stay at number one. Baylor drops to 3-4 with a home loss. Just the way rankings work.

People are worried about our schedule with the Michigan postponement. Look at TT schedule. 4 games in 8 days. 3 of them against ranked teams. That's a tough schedule.

I don’t think that, like their team but feel they lost to much from last year to be the best team.

Iowa St. has been good (and I did not realize that Kauscher was there in addition to Brockington)...Texas Tech has served notice that they can play...Texas with Beard is solid...not sure yet on West Virginia. They are top heavy as a conference, but, the top teams in the conference are as good as the top teams in any conference.

Just like last year, probably the best conference at the top, IMHO.
