And Purdue wonders why fans don't travel to Indy for this event...

I am usually an ardent supporter but at times like this, it is hard to keep a positive attitude. Maybe CMP needs to schedule a game during finals week next season.

Maybe Purdue just needs to drop out of the Crossroads Classic and let a more deserving team play in it. Perhaps IPFW or IUPUI.

Like the movie Groundhog Day.

You don't come out playing against Notre Dame as a ranked team looking like that. Fans can no longer have ANY confidence this team will play. They are a disappointment. That is all this team is and all they ever will be. This is not the horse that comes out racing like there is no tomorrow. They'll play against some fat lipped loser team and think they're big and bad. When they play a team their own size they get out there and suck. And that is all they ever do. A bunch of posers.

Great comeback. Unbeliveable. Although not sure having pessimism with encurring a 17 pt defecit in tbe first half of the Crossroad Classic makes anyone less of a fan. We are all glad they won. Just would rather not have to go through such a low point to geth there

It doesn't. Most of the "Downers" are just expressing frustration at the moment we are stinking things up. Others wait longer and put more reasoned thought into it. Neither is wrong. The result is some stick there foot in there mouth. Some far enough to choke on it.

Hopefully, last night's win will have the same effect in the Crossroads Classic as the 2009 win over Wake Forest that helped flip Purdue's script in the ACC Challenge.

You mean compared to the thousands of fans who watched and didn't feel the need to whine like a cat in the rain.
