45-35 to the Saints. Was like watching a Sega matchup. 80 points, 1,000 yards of offense, and no sacks. Brees 4 td's. That Goff kid for the Rams is who I want getting off the bus first, holy crap.

And since the Rams were the last undefeated, Griese is enjoying a glass of champagne....
I don't think I've ever followed a pro career like I have Brees. Normally I just don't give a crap, but he's different. I was on Bourbon St when the news came out he was going to the Saints. I told my bartender he was gonna love Drew Brees.
Yeah, the Roger Staubach of his era: Among the best of his time (if not the best) and someone always seemed to have a "better" year. What does the guy have to do?
I thought the announcers were going to stroke out over the cell phone stunt. They are entertainers, that's what they do boneheads!
Right now it appears to be a four-way race among Brees, Mahomes, Gurley, and Goff. If the Saints maintain their level, I like Drew Brees' chances....but you never know with these season awards. Candidly, I think the Saints need to harness a little more defense to make it out of the NFC, but that could be bolstered if they get home field advantage. Long way to go still.
I have no clue why Aikman made such a big deal out of it.
