Alec Peters

Yep, it will be that way unless/until he announces his intention to transfer. I'm sure that there will be some HC's that don't abide by that rule. I remember reading that after Ohio U. had their win over either Georgetown in the 2010 NCAA's or Michigan in the 2012 NCAA's (I can't remember which one), Scott Drew found some way to get in contact with their PG D.J. Cooper, to see if he wanted to transfer to Baylor after the season. Cooper finished his career at Ohio, but I'm sure these kind of things happen more frequently than we realize (contacting players that are actively playing for another program and have not shown an interest in leaving).

Peters isn't really a big. He's a combo forward. If they have a big lineup out there, why not play a 2-3 or 3-2 to counter dribble-penetration and the like? That's original though, attaching yourself to dumpsterfyre's comment and trying to pile on with it.
Just so there is no misunderstanding, I will attach directly to your post and address you directctly. Nag, you are an ass. I made no inflammatory remarks whatsoever in the post in question. Simply stated a position which was not in line with yours. You can not handle it when someone disagrees with you and honestly you never have. You are correct in the assertion that I replied to another posters comment and reinforced it with my thoughts. I didn't realize that was a crime in this bastion of literary genius. In the future I will only comment on the very most idiotic of your posts. That should cut the reply percentage down to about 50% of the current rate. Although they still will lack originality I fear.

You're the one that's doing the name-calling. What does that say about you?

I haven't hurled insults at anyone or called anyone names, other than stating that Mathboy was delusional (about how great the 2003-2004 Boilers were), which isn't really "name-calling", per se.

All I stated was that you were piling on to dumpsterfyre's comment, which looks undeniable to me if you look at the sequence of posts in this thread. He stated that one of my proposed lineups would be "the slowest lineup in the NCAA" and you immediately chimed in with, "way to slow!...". Does that seem like you just thought of that or does it seem like you're trying to add on to his comment to push your agenda?

I don't post here much anymore because of things like this. You most certainly do the things you complain about and as many, many people have pointed out you just simply can't handle people disagreeing with your opinion. It's evident to everyone but you.

I dare say that the only person here pushing an agenda is you. I would suggest you get some thicker skin or maybe not post when you are mensing.

Now, I am back to other sites and won't even read what you have to say. I know it's only going to be the same old stuff where you get all whiney because someone doesn't agree with you.

Nag is right. That Dakota Girl IS just adding comments which agree with the poster who is quoted and expanding on the thought. What has this world come to? See how I did that Nag? Now we agree. Is it OK that it's not my original idea now that it agrees with you? You have a good night. I know I will. Oh and your right. I didn't need to call you an ass. You cover that on your own.

You really showed yourself to be the one of "higher character" between us two, didn't you?

APeters announced yesterday that he is staying at Valpo, per CBS sports.

Yeah, I saw that. Well, it was wishful thinking. I still would like to see them add one more guard and one more frontcourt player. It looks like there's players still changing schools of the grad transfer variety (Cal guard Jordan Mathews and TCU guard Chauncey Collins being two of the latest), so there's still opportunities for the coaching staff to improve this roster in different facets of the game.

I was surprised that Peters did not elect to transfer. Valpo has one starter transferring already. Valpo's chances for the Dance are not nearly what they are at schools such as Purdue or Vanderbilt. Peters basically said he wanted to play with his friends/teammates at Valpo. Pretty cool and unusual in this current environment.

Good for him! I like the loyalty.
