Alaimo in the portal

Dude is going into his sixth year. You would have seen it by now. Oconnell could throw it well in practice a long time agoā€¦ know how we know? He moved up from 9th on the depth chart to 3rd highest rates passer in America. If Burton could process and get good throws out, brohm would have pushed it.

I almost feel like Burton is gonna be the new Jared sparks
All I said was it will be good to see what Burton and Allen can do. If you want to make an issue and argument out of it then have at it, but do it with someone else. Unreal what people argue about

No no youā€™re fine.. my point is it was stupid to chase alaimo away over Burton, if, as some have said, thatā€™s what happened

You can question it all you like. I still love all the "insider" info on this forum.

I doubt anyone really learns anything from you, but hang in there.
Ask around clown šŸ¤” you might be real surprised . Still havenā€™t answered my RB question. Thoughts? Or stay in your lane.

You do realize there are player parents and people with relatives who post on these boards, right?

If you are observant, you can figure out who they are.

Well, I wonder how that stunt is gonna help him get playing time?
Once he entered the portal, Purdue does not have to take him back. Since it seems Purdue did take him back, I am guessing the coaches wanted him and it will be a no harm no foul sort of thing.

If one of my teammates essentially quit the team like he did, when he clearly has an opportunity here, I wouldn't want him back.

Direct message. Not an argument. Questioning your ā€œinsiderā€ comment. Hang around clown, youā€™ll learn. šŸ¤”

REally? There is a non premie member that DMs me regularly.

There is a glitch with people being unavailable, i know that

Weird move. I wouldnt be shocked if we see his name out there again this summer.
Makes good sense for him to stay at least through spring practice to get a better handle on his prospects - and maybe demonstrate what he can do since Aidan is likely to be held out of contact. A good development all the way around...

That would make sense.
Kinda thought that was the destination all along. Maybe this kid isnā€™t that great but honestly neither are the QBs on their roster.
Still, you think he could get a shot at a BC, UCONN type place with how bad theyā€™ve been lately.

That would make sense.
Agree that it would make sense. The mind of an 19-20 year old young man can be confusing. Makes me wonder if he consulted our coaches to see where he was penciled in at prior to putting name in the Portal the 1st time around.
Depth charts changing in Spring and Fall based on variables of injuries and performance may have made his think he was deeper on the list than he actually was. He may have real chances this year to solidify a #2 spot.
There seems to be a hint of Allen throwing and showing signs of a Freshman that may have helped Alaimo see the bigger picture without much of any discussion with Coach Schiano. Rutgers already having a young QB in high rated Wimsatt may not have helped either.

It is my understanding all players are given an exit interview at the end of the season detailing where they stand. Some are given "the talk" as well.

Example of the talk below
