I called the JPC office today to see if I could get two tickets for Shively Club seating and also tickets for men’s basketball lower level seating.
I didn’t hang up w/ clear direction.
Sounds like Shively club is sold out, although the representative suggested that could change w/ Covid.
He said lower level Men’s BB is always sold out.
But he did say that w/ a sizable donation there might be a possibility.
I think he said the current points level for the lower level is around 10k points. He said this would equate to approximately a $100k gift.
Does this sound about right?
If so, I’m glad Purdue can command that amount of money for a new guy to JPC wanting nice seats.
Regarding basketball, wouldn’t I be better off paying for the court side seats at $10k each? I asked him this and he really didn’t answer.
I have friends who have lower level seats and also Shively Club seating. Can they order seats for me? I’m still happy to increase my level so Purdue and the athletes benefit, but I wasn’t planning on $100k.
Also, the football suites I think start at $50k so that again is less than his gift suggestion.
I’m confused and would like some KHC advice.
