The goofs doing the game on abc continued to lick iowas balls well in to the 3rd quarter until they figured out Purdue might win. The bald guy was fixated on Brohm playing 3 qb's.... they can't win like that . Jerry Dinardo on BTN still has the inbred iu hatred for Purdue and will give them little credit, another ball licker of ohio st.

Pasch's extensive work with Bill Walton has apparently left him quite addled.

DiNardo has long been beyond help.

Heck, even Dave Revsine gave Purdue some props - he usually blows past them in the recaps

I thought the ABC broadcast was almost unwatchable for me because of the excessive commercials. I wonder how much of the game they didn't broadcast. I would get bored and wander off to another part of the house and when I returned obviously several plays had taken place in the very short time I was absent. Then I noticed even when I watched all of the commercials that one time the first play shown in a series of plays was a 2nd and 10!

I'm not able to watch the Big10 network.

I’ve been watching the games live with the sound completely off or low volume. I also record them and watch them over so I can ffwd through the commercials. Today’s announcers are too biased toward certain teams

It kind of felt like an Iowa broadcast until the middle of the 4th quarter. When Purdue would make a play the focus was on Iowa's failure. When Iowa would make a play, the focus was on Iowa's execution. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as Iowa was #2 and has a more successful history.

listen to the (terrestrial) radio feed with the game on the TV, if possible. It's much, much better, IMHO.

yep. the other guy exposed Dinardo for the biased fool he is... BTN has to think about whether he should even be up there... PU just STOMPED on Iowa at home and he doesn't mention them as a potential top 3 in the West?... what a fool....

Yep I was pleasantly surprised he called Dinardo out. Forget his name but I believe he played at OSU

The only thing worse than listening to beth mowins do a college game is watching her do a Cubs game on Marquee. 🥵
That triumphant trucker voice… “behiiiiiiind the liiiiiiiiiine!”

i don’t think she or cross are as bad as millens

Of course Bell comes off well in that comparison. Rice never had a 240 receiving yard game in Kinnick Stadium, did he?
I just think in all seriousness that there may never have been a receiver more stylistically like Jerry rice in the history of football.. both the same size, both lacking blazing speed, both make their money by outstanding route running, body placement, overall fundamentals and both catch everything. Maybe bell will be diet rice who knows

Joshua Perry. Was a LB on the National Championship team in 2014. I agree - I think he’s good, too. Knows his stuff.

Needs a different stylist for the show. Dude shouldn't be wearing cloths that skinny when he's huge - he looks incredibly uncomfortable in them.

I can't get the radio feed (internet) to ever synch up with the tv. Any tips out there to get them synchd?
I don't think there is anything that you can do. When not on national TV, I used to listen to the game on radio (impossible now to do for free), follow on Yahoo sports on my computer (now they changed to not include every play), and listen to comments on the game day thread on this website from presumably people watching on TV. I noticed that the three means of following the game often didn't agree, but which was more in real time was hard to determine as each often lagged the others by a considerable amount of time, sometimes on the order of minutes.

I noticed one thing while watching this last week's Iowa game, they never cut a commercial short on ABC that I noticed, and I particularly noticed on one series of downs that the first down was missing, as the first play in that series on TV began with 2nd and 10. I suspect other plays were missed or broadcast later as if live because not being able to stomach watching the excessive commercials, I would go elsewhere for not too many seconds and return to see Purdue on the Iowa side of the field after a punt deep into Purdue territory, when expecting it to be second down at the latest in the first series after the punt.

ABC crew was better than anything else we’ve had this year.

Although, and assuming I heard it right because havn't seen a replay, it was on our opening drive where Pasch first correctly stated that O'Connell was starting but after the play he decided it was Plummer starting, and then Dvoracek just randomly surmised it must have been O'Connell starting with Plummer's #. What???

Did anyone else catch this? They got it figured out pretty quick but that moment was pretty laughable. Fortunately, they got better as the game went on.

Every game is on TV announcers are c team at best spread out, I think teams should have one guy both commentary and analyst and that's the tv guy abc espn btn hires the TV person for that school at least people will get correct information about the team just imagine if they don't get along. At least sec on CBS and ABC 7 oclock do homework about the game. I also miss musberger and vern

Yes, I caught it and it confused me as I don't really know the players' numbers. And I know better than one player using another player's number. I didn't find it laughable, but disgusting that these people are paid a lot of money to do their job, and they don't do it. Almost as disgusting as the more than excessive commercials that are much more important than broadcasting the game itself.

I like my Reggie Wayne comp a bit better. Not sure David is quite the long strider that Rice was.

Saw (heard) that.

I didn't like that they were also squeezing in the schedule line up for the rest of the day; none of which were BIG10 games, and did this several times. It was like having a little kid bugging you while trying to pay attention to something else.
And then .... now this from Cheesit.
