As Katie Gearlds and the Boilermakers continue their search for additional talent this off-season, a pair of players have emerged as legitimate targets.

Maryland wing Mila Reynolds entered the transfer portal this morning after one season in College Park. Her sister, Amiyah Reynolds, signed with the Terps but just announced she is re-opening her recruitment. The younger Reynolds is the No. 43 ranked played in the class of 2023, per ESPN.

The two sisters were also teammates with 2023 Purdue signee, Rashunda Jones, at South Bend Washington. Jones is very close with the Reynolds family and Katie Gearlds recruited them both.

Many of the top programs figure to have interest in the perceived package deal, but the Boilermakers would have an inside track to land the in-state pairing.

There is no news other than pure speculation at this point, but they are two names to watch over the next few days and weeks.

Yes, hope this happens, Purdue has the room for the both of them. Take the two of them, add maybe 1 more portal player and that’s the roster that you go into next year with.

With 15 scholarships available we could def both. We have an abundance of guards on the roster as of now but Amiyah badly injured a foot ligament last month, so she could be up for a redshirt year next season (along with possibly Swanson). That will free up the current log jam as the following season we will have to replace both Terry and Ellis at the PG. having Amiyah at the point and spider at the SG with Mila as a stretch forward would be perfect, and the sets us up really nicely to land IMO the grand prize out of the 3 - 6’3 post Kira Reynolds who will be top 20 nationally by her senior season.

Great post, I was thinking the same thing, might be some redshirt candidates.

Not to pick on you, but a dearth is a lack of, what we have is an abundance of guards for next year.

Correct, wrong word but I knew what was meant when reading the rest of the post.
me too, but I thought it a good moment to point out the difference for others who might not know what dearth meant. Not at all a jab at Pride, I ain't that subtle... ;)
