Yes, I have imbibed more than 6 fingers, but it was well worth it. I have felt for a while that there are a limited number of good teams this year. And many are not the regulars. With the games tonight, I think I can define the 8 ... although,, we all know things can evolve, I feel pretty good at this point, that these are the teams to contend in March/April

PU, MSU, Villanova, Virginia, West Virginia, Wichita St, Duke, Oklahoma ... not in any order at this point.

Proud to be a Boiler.

I would add Kansas ( If there hitting from 3 they can beat anyone) and Xavier (really tough/veteran team). I agree with the other 8 though

Kansas will definitely be better if they get their 5* freshman back .... and Xavier is fine for a ten team set.

Probably my least favorite team, but you have to include Arizona in this group. I really don't know what happened in the Bahamas, but definitely the best two teams went 1-5

Texas Tech is by far the most worthy to join the above, then Cincinnati, Gonzaga, North Carolina, before AZ .... JMHO

My main point is that the 8 I listed are separated from those below them. I still think those 8 are noticeably more competitive than all others

I’m not yet a believer in Wichita State. The only teams of substance they’ve really beaten thus far are Baylor and Marquette. They’ve been beaten by Notre Dame and Oklahoma. Not saying they shouldn’t be included. But I think their resume is suspect.

I try to agree, but their stats (I tend to be a metric guy) are stronger than the ones below them ...
