I'd love for Purdue to get him too. Nice 2 way player.Ryan Conwell in the portal. That's the one I want IU to get.
I bet Sean Miller has a nice bag lined up from Texas though.

Just curious. Now that IU has named its new coach, any rumors of Sisley staying or decommiting?
agree, if we would take a young guy, I'd go w/ Cooper KochHe'd stay at IU if they named Pee Wee Herman as the next coach

Ok for an honest, civil answerHe'd stay at IU if they named Pee Wee Herman as the next coach
$4 million minimum. How much does Purdue need to keep him and how much would another team need to offer to get him to seriously consider it?
No one cares.Ryan Conwell in the portal. That's the one I want IU to get.
We don't give a shit who you want. Take the hint and gtfo.Ryan Conwell in the portal. That's the one I want IU to get.

2.5 sounds right probably. I am not sure any school can offer 5M to one player and still fill out an entire roster that'll be competitive. Unless, it's like BYUs situation where Nike says hey, we will give you all this money but we need you to go to Duke for the brand.I’d say 2.5M minimum. But offers of 5M plus could make him listen but I think it also comes down to paint and the big 3 discussing what they need for next year and if paint and staff can get those guys. Or at least show them Purdue is willing to listen and try and go get em.
Is that a preview of the “humor” we can find on your “podcast”?Sounds like a personal problem.
It seems like quite a few have expressed a similar feeling, no?Sounds like a personal problem.
SEC schools have tons of money that they can offer through NIL. Bama has been rumored at 5M. KU and UK as well.2.5 sounds right probably. UK does have the horse money. But I'm pretty sure there are some rule changes with NIL coming up where you can't just hand kids money to hand them money. I'm not sure Bama would have 5M for one player. Or Kansas. I could see Kentucky. Arkansas could with their Walmart money. Maybe Oregon. I don't know. 5M for one player is just wild when this past year I'm not sure anyone top like maybe 7M or something.SEC schools have tons of money that they can offer through NIL. Guess Bama is lying to smith then, eh?UK does have the horse money. But I'm pretty sure there are some rule changes with NIL coming up where you can't just hand kids money to hand them money. I have to laugh at this...not that you are wrong, but the horse money which is true. FWIW, my extended family through marriage was huge into the horses with Dan Lasater his partner. That guy (John) was the oldest brother of a childhood friend (Brent). Danny (ex Ponderosa owner) was the Bond daddy for Bill Clinton and arrested with Roger Clinton who Bill pardoned for cocaine trafficking. Somewhere around that time Florida hired Norm Sloan and I was told a few years before Florida beat Purdue (86/87) that Sloan was told the money was available...make Florida a winner. So yeah, horse money is available...UK does have the horse money. But I'm pretty sure there are some rule changes with NIL coming up where you can't just hand kids money to hand them money. I don't know about lying but maybe stretching the truth. Hell maybe they do have 5m to throw at one guy. Maybe they are just talking about NIL+Revenue share. No clue. I don't really see Smith fitting in at Alabama. At Duke... Yes.Guess Bama is lying to smith then, eh?
This guy is interesting. 3 years left but is that 6’8 wing we all talk about. Saw a brief highlight reel back when he was in HS and he was only shooting 3s. Interesting for sure.
Duke has the boozer twins. And while Cayden isn’t as good as his bro, he still plays the PG spot. No way they have someone come in and start over him and pay 30-35 min.I don't know about lying but maybe stretching the truth. Hell maybe they do have 5m to throw at one guy. I don't see Scheyer as someone who would be scared of playing them together. Not that he even goes to Duke, but i definitely don't see him going to the SEC at all. But I also don't see any chance he leaves Purdue unless it's for the NBA.Duke has the boozer twins. And while Cayden isn’t as good as his bro, he still plays the PG spot. Lottttta X accounts trying to create smoke about smith leaving and saying “if I hear what is true about smith….” But then not saying anything 😂I don't see Scheyer as someone who would be scared of playing them together. I think Tucker is one from this team that likely has a promising future. I think Woody likely didn’t offer the needed structure discipline and guidance and never really adapted to his skill set. I could be totally off but my gut says he’s probably got some talent that will come out at the high major level. Good eval or totally off base?
Dang - was going to create a separate post on this. Was going to collect all the stupid/horrible off-season takes about how amazing their roster was etc....but then I decided not to add bad juju before the game tonight.
very happy to hear that, if we get him I'll get you some Bison stuff
IU has the Coaches kid (very good) and Sisley, my guess is we’ll see a few WVA kids added soon.I think Tucker is one from this team that likely has a promising future. in that odd lookin arena
I don't see it as a bad thing at all.
