Agree on both.Yanni not a loss. Nowhere near the talent of his brother.
But, Losing a 3 yr OL starter doesn't help.
Yeah at this point it might be more efficient to list who is NOT transferring. Well, unless @DubJellison is just trying to get his post count upShould be a long thread.
You caught me! No, but I’ll have one big tracker story on the front page later today that’ll get updated each day and will just drop notes in here.Yeah at this point it might be more efficient to list who is NOT transferring. Well, unless @DubJellison is just trying to get his post count up
The difference I see between your situation and IU's, as of YESTERDAY, December 1st, Cignetti was already on contract last year. With the new dates for early portal visits (Dec 4th), you could be more like Washington. Yes, they were caught unexpectedly in January but still in two weeks your are outside the portal window until the spring. The coach at Washington has reminded his press corp of that almost weekly. With a late start, whenever we get our next coach, there is going to have to be 40-50 transfers at least with no recruiting class and all of the transfers out. It worked for IU, so I don't know why it cannot work for us.
Wabash and Depauw have already reached out to him!!!Yanni not a loss. Nowhere near the talent of his brother.

Yeah, gotta have a current head coach in my opinion. He'll bring players and a staff. If you guys hire a successful current head coach and open the checkbook? That coach will bring players with them.
If not? Only scraps will remain. That's why Mullen or Chryst would be a questionable hire in this era.
Surprised he didn't stick around long enough to see who the new coach was going to be (unless he already has a deal lined up).Purdue redshirt freshman QB Ryan Browne has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per a report by Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.

Didn't realize he had eligibility left. Good for him. He seems like he could play at the next level with good coaching and work put into his craft. Would love to see him stay.
pretty much as to what I was going to sayDidn't realize he had eligibility left. Good for him. He seems like he could play at the next level with good coaching and work put into his craft. Would love to see him stay.
No offense to the young man but I think it was clear whomever the new coach brings with him at QB was going to start over him so makes sense to transfer.Purdue redshirt freshman QB Ryan Browne has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per a report by Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer.

If we hire another non head coach, time to get the pitchforks.that only pertains to coach's that have a team
Which I certainly hope is who we pick!that only pertains to coach's that have a team
totally agree, part of the reason I want SilverfieldWhich I certainly hope is who we pick!
Except for Klare, who is a TE, I don’t care if our entire WR corp leaves. Our WRs had horrible hands, bad routes, couldn’t cause separation, and would not come back to help the QB. Maybe some coaching, but when it comes to catching the ball, you can or you cannot catch the ball.Sophomore wide receiver Jaron Tibbs is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal, leaving the option open to return to Purdue.

I actually liked our WRs. Yeh, they had the drops sometimes (and Edgerinn at a crucial time) but they seem to have the physical tools.Except for Klare, who is a TE, I don’t care if our entire WR corp leaves. I guess it is recruiting and coaching, but LSU and Alabama always have great receivers. We used to get them, but it has been about 3 to 4 years ago now, since we had a true game changing WR.
And add 8-10 LB’s.I actually liked our WRs. Yeh, they had the drops sometimes (and Edgerinn at a crucial time) but they seem to have the physical tools.
Need to upgrade the RB and get some guys on the OL who can run block and pass protect.
