This is a serious question: is he Mormon?
Pics from his trip:
Donda Academy?? Wow...
Is there a reason Purdue hasn't offered him to this point?
Not sure. No offers from in-state IU or Butler either but he has offers from Illinois, Marquette, X, and others. Is there a reason Purdue hasn't offered him to this point?
This seems to smell funny. Does it to anyone else?
Yes, but perhaps just because we aren't used to the NIL era yet. This seems to smell funny. Does it to anyone else?
I'm guessing a posse or handlers. Would also explain the lack of an in-state offer. This seems to smell funny. Does it to anyone else?
I'd do ANYthing for love ... but I won't do THAT.Donda Academy?? Wow...
IU seems to be prioritizing Jeremy Fears over Gibbs lawhorn. In the words of Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn
ON INDIANA AND PURDUE
"They both offered before Covid. I still hear a lot from Purdue a lot. Indian, not as much. They had the coaching change so it’s a bit confusing with them, but I still hear from [recruiting coordinator Brian] Walsh from time to time. I hear a lot from Purdue. I took another visit there this summer and I feel like I am one of their top targets."
ON PURDUE
“We just talk about the basics about why they want me and how they want me to fit in and play if I go there. We talk a lot about basketball. It’s not like we talk about recruiting a ton because I already know they want me. It’s more just talk about basketball.”
Be nice to get him teamed up with Myles Colvin!
Gotta love the comment about how his IU recruitment has been confusing lol.
Your assessment looks good. 1 scholarship with potential of 1 or 2 depending on others leaving. As of today how many spots do we have available for the 2023 class?
We have three seniors on the roster that will leave after this season with 3 verbals for the class of 2022 (Smith, Loyer, and Heide). Ivey is likely gone but that would free up a spot for Berg if we get him making 4 commits for the 2022 class. We have one junior in IT and 1 verbal commit for the 2023 class (Colvin). I'd like to pick up a couple more recruits in that class (especially Dra) so maybe Edey leaves after his junior season and we likely will have some attrition to the team.
Purdue currently only has 12 scholarship players I believe , so if the 3 seniors leave after this year that gives them 4 open scholarships for next year. If Berg commits, Purdue is back to 1 open scholarship for 2023, but Ivey and Edey are most likely gone as well. I would guess Purdue will have at least 3 spots for 2023.As of today how many spots do we have available for the 2023 class?

Yep, You don't have to wonder very long as to why he has no in state offers. This seems to smell funny. Does it to anyone else?
I don’t think he has B1G offers yet. I saw where Johnny Dawkins and Central Florida have been making a push. We had interest over the summer. I am sure we are tracking but we have limited openings currently. He attended IU’s Hoosier Hysterical outing recently. Could be he gets more offers next summer like Conner Essegian did recently as rosters fill out and openings pop up.Has anybody seen Joey Hart? Is he a B10 type of prospect?
Thanks!Ok, I tried to compile all the info from the first 5 pages of this thread. Let me know if anything looks incorrect.

Moving up, he did.Colvin is going to move way, way up that list.
He is actually 75 on 247.Moving up, he did.
Came at 80, according to 247.
Boiler up!!
Still think he will move up a good bit.Moving up, he did.

I agree. Great to see his sister being a major contributor as a freshman on one of the nation's top volleyball teams. She was just an Honorable Mention All-American. That is comparable to a 4-star in basketball.Still think he will move up a good bit.
Any relation to Darryl?5 star from last month
Ah, Dr. Dunkenstein. Just in time for Halloween. I don’t think so. I couldn’t find anything.Any relation to Darryl?
Fears released his top 8. No Purdue. IU in there, but likely not the ultimate choice.IU seems to be prioritizing Jeremy Fears over Gibbs lawhorn.
I didn’t see his name either. He is from the Cincinnati area. Maybe named after the Buddy Holly song “Rave On”?How about Rashard?
