Not sure. No offers from in-state IU or Butler either but he has offers from Illinois, Marquette, X, and others.

Yes, but perhaps just because we aren't used to the NIL era yet.
I'm guessing a posse or handlers. Would also explain the lack of an in-state offer.

I'd do ANYthing for love ... but I won't do THAT.
As of today how many spots do we have available for the 2023 class?
We have three seniors on the roster that will leave after this season with 3 verbals for the class of 2022 (Smith, Loyer, and Heide). Ivey is likely gone but that would free up a spot for Berg if we get him making 4 commits for the 2022 class. We have one junior in IT and 1 verbal commit for the 2023 class (Colvin). I'd like to pick up a couple more recruits in that class (especially Dra) so maybe Edey leaves after his junior season and we likely will have some attrition to the team.

IU seems to be prioritizing Jeremy Fears over Gibbs lawhorn.
Your assessment looks good. 1 scholarship with potential of 1 or 2 depending on others leaving.
Purdue currently only has 12 scholarship players I believe , so if the 3 seniors leave after this year that gives them 4 open scholarships for next year. If Berg commits, Purdue is back to 1 open scholarship for 2023, but Ivey and Edey are most likely gone as well. I would guess Purdue will have at least 3 spots for 2023.
Also need to take into account transfers out/in. While I don't expect any particular individuals to transfer out, over the next 2 seasons almost certainly someone will.
Yep, You don't have to wonder very long as to why he has no in state offers.
I don’t think he has B1G offers yet. I saw where Johnny Dawkins and Central Florida have been making a push. We had interest over the summer. I am sure we are tracking but we have limited openings currently. He attended IU’s Hoosier Hysterical outing recently. Could be he gets more offers next summer like Conner Essegian did recently as rosters fill out and openings pop up.

I agree. Great to see his sister being a major contributor as a freshman on one of the nation's top volleyball teams. She was just an Honorable Mention All-American. That is comparable to a 4-star in basketball.

Fears released his top 8. No Purdue. IU in there, but likely not the ultimate choice.
UM, MSU, or Illinois thought to be the eventual destination.
I didn’t see his name either. He is from the Cincinnati area. Maybe named after the Buddy Holly song “Rave On”?
Coach Johnson was a point guard for Lamar University in Beaumont. Wesley Yates is a top 40 guard from that area.
Missed this one. Must have drove to Houston from Beaumont on I-10 for a visit with Kenneth Lewis.
